The 24th Board of Directors of The Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong (REDA) held its first meeting today.
During the meeting, Mr. Keith Kerr was elected as President and Mr. Thomas Kwok as Executive Vice-President for a term of two years. Sir Ka-shing Li, Dr. Cheng Yu-tung, Dr. Lee Shau-kee, Sir Gordon Wu, Dr. K. S. Lo, Dr. Peter Woo, Mr. Ronnie Chan, Mr. Joseph Leung, Mr. Anthony Nightingale, Ms. Daisy Ho, Ms. Irene Lee, Mr. Robert Ng and Mr. Christopher Pratt were elected as Vice-Presidents.
“I am deeply honoured to have been elected President to succeed Dr. Stanley Ho,” said Mr. Kerr. “Stanley has been President for over 25 years and, under his leadership, REDA has become an effective voice representing the real estate industry in Hong Kong. In recognition and appreciation of his long-standing contribution, we have unanimously invited Stanley to become our Honorary Life President.”
In the same meeting, Mr. Stewart Leung was appointed Chairman and Mr. Robert Ng Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee for a term of two years.
REDA’s Executive Committee is made up of Central Development Limited, Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited, Chinachem Investment Company Limited, The Great Eagle Company Limited, Hang Lung Properties Limited, Henderson Land Development Limited, The Hongkong Land Property Company Limited, Hopewell Holdings Limited, Hutchison Properties Limited, Hysan Development Company Limited, Lai Sun Development Company Limited, New World Development Company Limited, Shun Tak Holdings Limited, Sino Land Company Limited, Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited, Swire Properties Limited and Wheelock Properties Limited.
